Rules on Participation and Registration (“Rules”)
REGULATIONS
Capcom Entertainment France SAS, with a capital of 36,000 euros, registered under number 50746832000043 RCS (hereinafter the “Organizing Company” or “Capcom”), whose registered office is located at 25 rue Ponthieu 75008 Paris, France, is organizing and hosting the Capcom video game tournament during the Paris Games Week trade fair, taking place from October 30 to November 2, 2025 at the Parc des Expositions Paris Expo – Porte de Versailles, Paris, France. The tournament will feature the Capcom video game titled Monster Hunter Wilds (PEGI 16+) and is scheduled to take place on November 1, 2025 (hereinafter "the Championship" or the “MONSTER HUNTER WILDS FRANCE CHAMPIONSHIP”). The Championship will be held on the Capcom Booth Stage, located within Capcom’s exhibition booth at the Paris Games Week.
The Championship is a skill-based competition. Winners will be determined exclusively by their performance during the competition rounds as described in these Rules. No element of chance will influence the outcome of the Championship. Participation in the Championship is subject to the participant’s full acceptance of these Capcom official Rules.
1. General information about the MONSTER HUNTER WILDS FRANCE CHAMPIONSHIP
The MONSTER HUNTER WILDS FRANCE CHAMPIONSHIP is an in-person competition of the Capcom game titled "Monster Hunter Wilds". It consists of a series of time trials in which teams of two players compete to complete specific quests as quickly as possible demonstrating their skills. The Championship will be conducted in accordance with the Competition Format and Winner Selection Criteria set out in Clause 8 of these Rules. It consists of two stages: the Qualifying Round to determine the eight (8) fastest teams, followed by the Final Round to decide the winning team. 2. Definitions
Players: All individuals eligible to participate in the Championship pursuant to Clause 4 will be referred to as Players.
Event Quests: Two quests from the Event Quests mode (“Event Quests”), to be chosen by Capcom no later than the day of the tournament, will be used in the Championship.
Qualifying Round: The first round of the championship will feature one of the two quests from the Event Quests. All Players shall attempt to complete this quest as quickly as possible. The eight (8) fastest teams will proceed to the Final Round.
Final Round: The second and final round of the Championship will feature the quest that was not used in the Qualifying Round. As in the Qualifying Round, all Players shall attempt to complete the designated Event Quest as quickly as possible.
Winner: The winning team shall be the team that the tournament judges determine has successfully completed the Final Round of the Championship in the shortest time, in accordance with the Rules.
3. Date and Place of the Championship
The MONSTER HUNTER WILDS FRANCE CHAMPIONSHIP is scheduled to be held as follows:
Date: November 1, 2025
Event Start Time: 10 (ten) a.m. (Central European Time).
(Note: Each team’s participation time slot may vary. Please check your registration details for your team’s start time.)
Venue: Hall 1 - Parc des Expositions Paris Expo - Porte de Versailles.
Booth: The Capcom Booth Stage, located within Capcom’s exhibition booth at Paris Games Week trade fair.
4. Player Eligibility
(i) Entry Eligibility: The Championship is open to all individuals who are at least 18 years old as of November 1, 2025, and who lawfully reside in any Member State of the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland. All participants must present a valid government-issued identity document or passport, which must be valid until at least November 2, 2025, for identity and age verification purposes. Capcom reserves the right to request proof of legal residence.
(ii) Personal Data Processing: The Organizing Company will not make or keep copies of Player’s identification documents brought to the event, nor retain personal data from these documents, except in cases where it is expressly required for example for awarding prizes, fulfilling regulatory obligations, or where otherwise necessary to conduct the Championship. In these situations, personal data will only be processed with your explicit consent, or on another lawful basis as permitted by applicable law. For more information on how Player’s personal data is handled, please refer to Clause 15 and the applicable privacy policies.
(iii) Exception to Entry Eligibility: Employees, directors, officers, and their Immediate Families of Capcom, and their parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, agents, and any entities involved in the organization, executing, or providing prize for the Championship are not eligible to participate. In this clause the “Immediate Families” means spouses or partners, parents, children and siblings, and also the spouses or partners of parents, children, and siblings.
5. Registration
If you wish to participate in the competition, please register online at https://mhfesta2025-paris.com. Registration for the Championship is limited to a maximum of 100 teams (200 Players in total). Eligible teams will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis subject to full compliance with all entry requirements and terms of these Rules. Due to venue and time constraints, the Championship cannot accommodate more than 100 participating teams (200 Players) in a single day.
The deadline for online registration is October 20th at 11:59 PM (Central European Time).

9. Right to Image, License Grant-Back, Waiver
The Championship will be subject to video, photo, sound, voice recording, as well as broadcasting on the internet (including social networks), television, press and public relations, displays, radio, and Organizing Company’s internal communication. Each Player authorizes, for a period of ten (10) years from November 1, 2025, the Organizing Company, its group companies, media and commercial partners, and any person acting on their behalf, to capture their image and voice during the Championship by any means (photography, video, audio recording, etc.). Players grant a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license and to exploit, use, reproduce, represent, modify, adapt, translate, subtitle their image, their surname, pseudonym, voice, and statements (the “Content”) on all known or future media and formats, including but not limited to including but not limited to websites, social media pages, television channels, online services, press publications (digital and print), CD-ROMs, DVDs, Blu-Ray, computers, mobile devices, and any other format or technology now known or developed in the future, in any language and by any process.
Each Player expressly waives any moral rights (droit moral) they may have in connection with the use of the Content as permitted above, to the fullest extent allowed by law, and agrees that no prior approval shall be required for any such use.
For more information regarding the processing of personal data, including photographs, video or audio recordings containing personal data, please refer to Clause 15 and the applicable privacy policy.
10. Acceptance of the Rules and Regulations
By participating in the MONSTER HUNTER WILDS FRANCE CHAMPIONSHIP, each Player fully and unconditionally accepts these Rules, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Championship. The receipt of any prize is contingent upon the Player's full compliance with these Rules.
11. Code of Conduct
All Players must treat each other, Capcom and tournament staff and spectators with respect at all times. Any player who engages in inappropriate behavior, or who fails to participate in the Championship in accordance with these Rules may be immediately disqualified from the Championship and may, at Capcom's discretion, be deemed ineligible to receive any prize. Inappropriate behavior includes, but is not limited to:
Players agree to be bound by the decisions of Capcom and any parties acting on its behalf, which shall be final and binding in all matters relating to the MONSTER HUNTER WILDS FRANCE CHAMPIONSHIP. Capcom reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who interferes with the operation of the Championship or violated these Rules. Capcom also reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to ban any player from future Capcom-hosted events and tournaments if it deems such action necessary.
Capcom will not permit individual or entity to display, advertise, or otherwise promote any sponsorships or any commercial affiliations with companies or sponsors involved in adult products (such as pornographic websites, or those that manufacture, sell, distribute, or promote cigarettes or vaping products (e-cigarettes), drugs, firearms, or any other weapons. This restriction applies to all official Capcom media content and channels, such as the event streaming platforms, channels, and social media, in connection with the Championship.
Players acknowledge and agree that Capcom reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to prohibit any player from displaying, advertising, or otherwise promoting sponsorships or commercial affiliations with companies offering such products or services.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE, EQUIPMENT, OR TECHNOLOGY, INTERFERE WITH THE ENTRY PROCESS, OR OTHERWISE UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE MONSTER HUNTER WILDS FRANCE CHAMPIONSHIP MAY CONSTITUTE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, CAPCOM RESERVES THE RIGHT TO TAKE ALL ACTIONS PERMITTED BY LAW, INCLUDING COOPERATING WITH THE LAW ENFORCEMENT AUTHORITIES IN THE INVESTIGATION AND PROSECUTION OF THE INDIVIDUALS INVOLVED.
12. Tournament Prizes
12.1 Prizes
Subject to compliance with the conditions provided in these Rules, the following prizes (“Prize”) will be awarded.
Each confirmed Player (up to 200 people) will receive:
Players in the eight (8) teams participating in the Final Round will receive the prize(s) as follows.
12.2 Not for Resale/Transfer/Exchange: Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash or any other item. Prizes may not be resold by the Players, assigned to any other person, or exchanged for an alternative, except as expressly provided for herein. The face value of each Prize may vary according to market conditions at the time of award. Any difference between the stated value and the actual value at the time of award will not be compensated for by Capcom.
12.3 Prize Substitution: If, for any reason outside of Capcom’s control (including partner default, force majeure, or event cancellation), Prizes cannot be awarded as described, Capcom reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute the affected Prize (or part of a Prize) with another prize of equivalent or greater value. No compensation or alternative will be provided if a Prize or any element of a Prize becomes unavailable.
12.4 Cancellation: If the Championship cannot take place or must be cancelled for reasons beyond Capcom’s control (including, but not limited to, force majeure, government orders, or safety concerns), Capcom reserves the right to cancel the Championship without awarding any Prize, and no participant, Player or winner shall have any claim to any compensation or substitute Prize.
12.5 Prize Forfeiture: If a winner cannot take up a prize for any reason, fails to comply with these Rules, or expressly waives their prize, the prize will be forfeited without any right to compensation or claim. Capcom may, at its sole discretion, award the forfeited prize to an alternate participant or retain it for a future event.
12.6 Taxes and Duties: Any applicable taxes, duties or charges associated with Prizes are the sole responsibility of the Player/Winner.
12.7 Miscellaneous: Winners may be invited to take part in future international competitions. These competitions are not yet confirmed and are subject to Capcom's discretion. Participation in future international competitions is not guaranteed and is subject to Capcom’s discretion. Further details, including confirmation of future international competitions and any associated terms, will be provided if and when available.
13. Limitations of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CAPCOM HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, REPRESENTATIONS, AND CONDITIONS, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE, IN RELATION TO THE MONSTER HUNTER WILDS GAME SOFTWARE, THE EQUIPMENT, CHAMPIONSHIP ADMINISTRATION, AND PRIZES. THIS INCLUDES, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES THAT MAY ARISE FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR COURSE OF PERFORMANCE.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, and without prejudice to mandatory legal rights, Capcom shall not be liable to any Player for any damages, losses, or liabilities of any kind arising out of or in connection with their participation in the Championship. This includes, but is not limited to:
Capcom reserve the right, in its sole discretion, to request that a round be replayed, declare a round null and void, or otherwise modify part of the Championship in the event of technical or system malfunctions.
If the Championship cannot be held as planned, in whole or in part, due to computer viruses, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any causes beyond Capcom’s reasonable control that affect the administration, security, or integrity of the Championship, Capcom reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, suspend, or cancel the Championship or affected portions thereof.
Without limiting the foregoing, if Capcom determines that the validity of a round has been compromised for any reason, it may cancel that Round and re-administer it, or decide the outcome based on unaffected rounds. In the event that an individual is adversely affected in a round by a technical or equipment malfunction, Capcom reserves the right to organize a special round for the affected competitors. In such cases, Capcom will seek to notify players via the following url: https://mhfesta2025-paris.com/en.
Nothing in these Rules shall exclude or limit liability in the case of gross negligence (faute lourde), intentional misconduct (faute intentionnelle), death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud, or in any other circumstances where such limitation or exclusion is prohibited by law.
BY PARTICIPATING IN THE MONSTER HUNTER WILDS FRANCE CHAMPIONSHIP, PLAYERS AGREE TO INDEMNIFY, DEFEND, AND HOLD HARMLESS CAPCOM AND ITS PARENT COMPANY, AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AUTHORIZED AGENTS FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DEMANDS, DAMAGES, EXPENSES, COSTS, OR EXPENSES (INCLUDING REASONABLE ATTORNEYS' FEES) ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO:
THIS OBLIGATION WILL SURVIVE BEYOND THE TERM OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP.
14. Personal Data and GDPR Compliance
Capcom processes participants’ personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR") and the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, as amended.
14.1 Data Controller and Purpose of Processing
Capcom is the data controller. It collects and processes participants’ personal data solely for the purposes of organizing, managing and executing the Championship, including verifying eligibility, registering participation, communicating event details, and complying with legal obligations.
14.2 Data Collected
The following categories of personal data may be collected:

Personal data may be shared with Capcom’s Affiliates (including Parent Company), and affiliated partners, some of whom may be located outside the European Economic Area (EEA) including United States of America. Any data transfer will be conducted in compliance with GDPR Chapter V and subject to appropriate safeguards.
14.4 Data Subject Rights
Participants/Players have the right to access, update, rectify, delete, object to, or restrict the processing of their personal data. To exercise these rights or make inquiries, please contact us at privacy.europe@capcom.com. Participants may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
14.5. Data Retention and Withdrawal
Data will be retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined above. Deletion requests of essential data before the end of the Championship may result in withdrawal from participation.
14.6. Marketing Consent
Participants may opt in to receive newsletters from the Capcom by selecting the appropriate box during registration.

15. Force Majeure
Capcom shall not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations (including the running of the Championship or awarding of any Prize) to the extent such failure or delay is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, pandemic, civil commotion or unrest, fire, flood, national mourning, labor disputes, acts of government or public authorities, or failure of suppliers, technology platforms, or public utilities (a “Force Majeure Event”).
In such cases, Capcom reserves the right to cancel, modify, postpone, or suspend the Championship (in whole or in part), and/or substitute the Prizes, without prior notice and without any obligation to compensate participants or winners.
16. Disputes
These regulations are governed by and shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of France. Any dispute or claim, or complaint relating to participation in the Championship, including its organization or results, must be submitted no later than November 25, 2025.

17. Rights reserved
Capcom reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to revise, update, modify, add to, or remove any part of these Rules and Regulations at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to operational, technical, or legal requirements. Any such changes will take effect immediately upon publication, unless stated otherwise. Capcom is not required to provide prior notice of such changes; however, participants will be deemed to have accepted any such modifications through continued participation in the Championship following publication. Participants are responsible for regularly reviewing the most up-to-date version of the Rules, which will be made available at the following url: https://mhfesta2025-paris.com.
